Guidance Department
It is staffed by a full-time psychologist for preschool, primary, and secondary education. This department’s functions primarily focus on supporting educational activities and addressing the needs of students, teachers, and parents. These functions include prevention, diagnosis, support for students with special educational needs, academic and career guidance, and more.
Support for students with special educational needs is provided by two teachers, one assigned to preschool and primary education, and the other to secondary education.
Laboratory
We have spacious facilities where students can improve their scientific proficiency. Our laboratory is equipped with resources that allow them to: enhance their knowledge of microorganisms and create microscope slides.
They learn about biology and geology by observing and describing plants, invertebrate collections, fossils, along with minerals and rocks.
We believe the laboratory has great educational value because, in addition to fostering the development of skills and abilities in the handling of materials and substances, it fosters the spirit of inquiry among students, as well as the practice of attitudes and values in individual and team work, which enhance academic teaching today.
Juan Ramón Jiménez Volleyball Club of the City of Ceramics
What began in September 2014 as an extracurricular sports activity, an alternative to the overcrowded and idealized soccer, continues to move toward full consolidation.
In 2016/17, our students from the JRJ VOLLEYBALL CLUB made their debut in the Regional Boys’ Youth Volleyball League, in which nine teams from across the region compete. The Juan Ramón Jiménez Volleyball Club has been reinforced by seven players from the Ciudad de la Cerámica Volleyball Club school, a true institution in the city.
